About

ABOUT SARA:

Simply put, Sara Goede is a 49-year-old mother of 2 and wife of 25 years. But truly she is a passionate purser of God who desires to add value to others. She believes that Chris, Ry, and Addi are the 3 people that God chose specifically for her to love, nurture and influence. But she would add that they have loved, nurtured and influenced her. It’s been a partnership, a team approach to their family life.

In 1997, Sara graduated from Liberty University with a nursing degree. She and Chris met at LU and soon married after graduation. They have made Atlanta, GA their home since their wedding where they had their children, Ryland and Addi. Nursing allowed much flexibility to Sara allowing her to have periods of working and moments of staying home. Most of her nursing career she spent in labor delivery but has also spent her years volunteering in pregnancy centers, children’s classes, foundations, ball teams, coaching, leading bible studies, and cooking for an endless rotation of children coming and going. She wouldn’t trade any of it because each season and each opportunity provided so very much in a variety of ways. They not only allowed her avenues to invest but allowed her to be invested in.

Recently, Sara and Chris became empty nesters and are finding the joy in adjusting to the new norm. Sara says these are exciting times, but they are full of new and interesting feelings. Parenting adulting children is a new season that she and Chris are exploring together. But she feels that it is time to take all the years of learning as a mom into an avenue to help others. It is said that life isn’t what happens to you but what happens in you. Sara feels that God has been doing a work in her during these last 25 years preparing her for a moment to help others. Not only is Sara naturally gifted in coaching, but she also is a Certified Professional & Executive Coach through The CaPP Institute. This year, Sara has launched her coaching platform as an avenue in which to start her next step in her life partnering with parents to provide encouragement, clarity and purpose in the story of your family.

So, here’s to 25 more years of marriage, parenting adulting children, maybe even some grandbabies down the road. And for joining hands with parents making the most of the beautiful gift of family.
